In 2009, close friends + artists Carrie Kiefer and Morgan Georgie founded Ampersand Design Studio, after freelancing together for several years. It quickly became known for combining graphic and handmade marks to create bold patterns in refreshing color palettes perfect for modern, everyday living. Together they create and collaborate on every design with paint, pen and ink, cut paper and anything else they can get their hands on!
